What's the best way to remove the residual wallpaper glue from my wall

Question

The walls are standard drywall.  The wallpaper was removed by pulling it off.  No liquids were used.  I plan on painting the walls after glue removal.

Use a heat gun. Available at a hardware store. Just be careful - they get very very hot. Then as it gets soft, you will then be able to scrape it off.

Try spritzing with warm water wait a moment and you should be able to gently get it off with a putty knife

you certainly can try the scraping that a previous person suggested. I would then use Glives, VERY hot water and spic and span ( you don’t need to rinse it). start washing. Then as the bucket water Starts to get thicker with the paste residue, dump it and start again
