If anyone has ever had a rambunctious cat or over exuberant video game player they have either feared or experienced a tv falling over. Personally for me it was a cat. Since I had to spend the money for a second tv I did not want to risk it falling again. I searched online how to secure a tv since mine can not be secured to a wall due to lack of studs in that wall. I came up with a super cheap way to secure it.
The new tv I bought has 4 feet instead of one middle stand so I decided to tie the feet down. I bought some straps from the electrical section from Home Depot for $.97
I laid out the straps so I could paint them.
I just painted them black since my stand is black as well as the tv.
Then I just placed them over the feet and I screwed them to the stand.
And here you have it! A nice secure tv. Hope you give this a try, good luck!

Brilliant! Not finding any studs close to where you need them is frustrating. But you have found a better way. Best wishes 😇
