Reception for TV varies depending where you live. Check Amazon and other electronic sites on-line. Many of them are smaller now and don't even need to go on the roof. One you can even stick on a window. They are nothing like they used to be! Check out

I cut the cord. Cable got too expensive. Home Depot, Menard's, Lowes sell digital antennas. I got an RCA flat antenna for my 32" TV for $20. I made my own two gang digital antenna for my 46" Vizio. Also depends how far stations are from your location.

Where do you live? If you are here in the US I'm afraid you won't get much even with the best antenna. There are very few places that broadcast programs the old way. Google search Antenna and there are places that still have them.

we use Youtube with our internet on our tv. You can get many shows and old movies that way. We bought our tv antennas at an electronic place that sales Winegard, Dell, Belknap, and so forth. The good ones run about $40. WE only get about 2 to 5 channels in our little western town, so if you live where you can get more from a city that is good. They are great.

I got mine in the electronics section of my local home store, or Best Buy etc. Since they are going to sell the most in your area, they will know which ones get the best reception, and in my case will allow returns.
