Any Ideas for this corner with the wood stove pipe?
I am unclear as to what to do with this part of my house, "The Breakfast Nook".
Make sure there is nothing blocking (dead leaves etc.) the line of sight between the two parts on the ground. (Sorry, I don't know what they're called) The "ray" between them is what keeps the door down, and/or signals to reverse if something is in the way. I may have saved you an $80 service call...something knocked one askew, but I knew to check and fix it myself. Now there may be other reasons, but this is very common. Good Luck
Does it have the safety feature of the 2 laser cameras that are designed 2 trip and stop the door from shutting on a person? If so, maybe they are not aligned, obstructed by a cobweb, or even sunlight can trip it unintentionally to make it stop closing.
I think something's in the way of the sensor which is the light or beam down at the bottom on each side of the garage door check it clean it you need to make sure there's no cob webs and see if that helps.
