If you are referring to the heat tape on your water pipes under the mobile home, it is not hard if you know the length of the pipe and can go to an electrical supply house that will size the length of the tape for you. Also, do not assume the electrical supply is 120 volts. hopefully you can find a label on the tape or the receptacle to know the voltage. Home Supply stores generally sell inexpensive voltmeters that are safe to use on home electrical systems. Anyone can use one IF they will read and follow instructions. (added benefit here - by testing the voltage you will make sure the circuit is live. There is the possibility that the heat tape is good, but the supply voltage is off) Gender does not matter, crawl under there, unplug the heat tape and remove the insulation carefully so you can reuse it, then observe how the tape is wound around the pipe, even measure the distance between the wraps. Then take the old heat tape and go to the electrical supply house. This is safe to do IF you follow all directions and get professional help if anything worries you

eIf you live in a mobile home park ask your park manager who they would recommend. If you do not change the heater tapes and insulation correctly you can have frozen and burst water pipes in the winter which is expensiv

I have the same problem and most concrete paints say they should not be used on previously painted concrete...so my floor is still a color I hate...
