How do i get my solar fairy lights to work again?

Question

The battery in the solar light is good. When I turn the lights on the lights stay lit but then do not go out when the sun comes up so of course the battery drains.

Have you tried cleaning off the solar panel part (the black part)? Try cleaning it with nail polish remover as it may be cloudy so it could be blocking out the light so they shut off

Hi Rob: Is the lens clean? If it's foggy, the light may think that it's still dark out. You can clean it with Motsenbockers Foam and Latex remover. Just be sure it says that it's o.k. to use on plastic. You just put some on a magic eraser, rub it on the light, let it sit for about 30 seconds or more and then rub it off with more product on your eraser. This should take the film off. Works great for foggy headlights too:) Is there an 'automatic' switch on your lights or just an on and off switch? Do you turn them off in the day time? If so, you are not letting the batteries recharge. Just turn the lights on and leave them alone. Hope this works, good luck.
