110/120 for baseboard is too expensive to operate. It is equivalent to using space heaters in the house. That is why 220/240 was installed. Best to have a qualified electrician remove it now that you have FA Gas. Good cold air returns will help the system run more efficiently.
Can't be done. The heating coils are made to heat up with 220V. I agree with removing since your going with forced air.
