You will need a special circuit. You need to get a licensed electrician because working inside your panel box is not something a novice should do. You could cause serious problems which could burn your house down or kill you.
Yes, that calls for a pro. Hope your electric panel has room for that larger circuit.
Call an electrician. You would need a subpanel for the welder. It would be connected to the 240 lines in you home's main panel. Cannot connect it directly into your main panel. Definitely not a DIY.
I can not agree more. . . .Use a new box directly from the mains. . . .Check with the power supplier if their circuits can handle the predicted load. .
