Replace a Wired Doorbell Button/Buzzer/Bell, Chime Unit or Transformer. Turn off power at the circuit breaker panel box. Use a screwdriver to remove the mounting screws that secure the doorbell switch to the house. If the mounting screws aren't visible, you may need to remove the cover plate to reach them.

Are you asking to just replace the button only? Sorry, but you will have to replace with a whole new doorbell. Good instructions were posted by Hometalker Pg above.
I just got one of those door bell replacement kits that are wireless. I screwed the doorbell part over where the old one had been, and then plugged in the bell part in an outlet. very easy, took less 10 mins. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_11?url=search-alias%3Dtools&field-keywords=wireless+doorbells+for+home&sprefix=wireless+do%2Ctools%2C204&crid=FQDEBMYU9MSQ&rh=n%3A228013%2Ck%3Awireless+doorbells+for+home
Doorbell works on 16 to 18 volts off a transformer. No need to turn power off. Unscrew the two screws holding the button to the house. Unscrew the two screws inside holding the two wires. To test to make sure it's the button that's bad and not the bell touch the two wires together. You won't get shocked. Doorbell sounds it's the button. Screw the wires to the new button. Mount the button on the house. test to make sure it works.
