Cracked carpet liner for my office chair what can i do?

    Try clear Gorilla duct tape on the underside, perhaps a clear on the topside also. Not sure how many cracks you are dealing with.

    I understand you don't want to purchase a new one... however, the weight of a person on a flimsy piece of plastic glued back together would not a great solution. My only thought is to find some colorful duct tape and wrap the whole thing multiple times until is thick and sturdy again.

    My husband has the same issue in his office. I used a piece of leftover vinyl flooring that came with our house when we purchased it. You can pick up cheap vinyl remnants from the Restore - Habitat for Humanity and you're supporting a wonderful cause. Hope this is helpful.

    You could try using Contact, but that will make it look better and keep it together, but it won't stop it braking up with age etc.
