fill old holes with wood putty and then line frame up and drill new holes.
is the frame too big or too small?
I have added lumber pieces glued and screwed to the inside or outside of the legs and then drill holes for height of frame to adjust for full and queen size differences.
drill new holes where they will line up right.
You could always attach the headboard to the wall, if you are not planning to move the bed to a different area......
