My second hubs burned my grandfather's old table. He said that it added character. Well, he's not around now and I can tell you two things. First, be prepared to rub for what will seem like forever and no, your arm won't fall off. Secondly, be sure to treat the wood with a good oil to help it "recover". Additionally, I have forgiven him--before he passed away/-)
