Try using plain white toothpaste or any oily product(peanut butter, rub a walnut over the stain, coconut oil, oil)etc.Use a soft cloth and rub in a circular movement.

Rubbing Compound!!!! I had a dining room table on which everyone routinely forgot to use coasters under their glassess. I tried every concoction I read on the internet and helpful hint books, the only thing which worked consistently with it was Rubbing Compound. It comes in a tin and is used for taking light scratches out of paint on cars. In Canada, I buy it at Canadian Tire Corp., but you could probably buy it at any place which has an automotive section. I was very nervous at first it might scratch my table so I only tried a wee spot but no worries. It doesn't scratch. As long as I had that table, it was my miracle worker and my husband and kids saving grace - lol. Try it! I guarantee you won't be sorry.

I hope I got here soon enough. First, take a clean dry hand towel...place it over the wood ring, then use an iron on the spot, on top of the towel. It will take a few min to warm up enough to release the moisture. Don't scorch the towel. I was able to remove a huge water spot made w a hot pizza box...with a bit of patience and care.

I have found the easiest way is to rub a little mayonnaise onto the white glass marks. Just keep rubbing away until the marks are gone, then clean off any residue. May not work on all woods, but it's worth a try. Cheap and easy.
