Try polishing the sink with very steel wool
Julia was saying very fine steel wool. You will need to do this, actually with a rougher steel wool, then go over it again with the fine, throughout the sink, so it doesn't show.
I listed a previous answer, but it probably did not go. . .I have used SOS pads to great success. . . . Try it, You'l like it
The steel wool trick was used on my sink for scratches and even a stain!! On stainless? Yup.
Polish the sink to shine with baby oil. I put oil on a paper towel, wipe sink, faucet and before tossing, wipe the stainless trash can. The fresh clean aroma is a bonus!
