Should I use JB Weld? No easy access to a welder. Bench is rarely sat upon, for looks only.

You can try and glue them back together and add some small cable ties as added support.

The leg takes a lot weight and punishment. Wood glue would not work. A two part epoxy would be the best to glue both pieces together. Once glued wrap the leg with blue painters tape till the glue hardens and cures. About two days should be good.
