is it a platform bed? velcro or bead of caulking along edges of platform mattress & box springs? heavy duty velcro between the mattress & box springs

They have a small sheet of fabric for sliding that you can purchase and put under couch cushions or mattresses to hold them in place. It's kind of like the non slip backing of a rug.
Try placing the rubber cabinet liner between the mattresses. It should helP grip the two so they don’t slide.
How about Velcro on the bottom on all sides so if you turn it it will catch on any side
