How to replace missing trim on furniture?
I saw a post that used hot glue to make a flexible trim piece but didn't save the post. Does anyone remember how to do it?

I think you liberally cover a piece of existing trim with the glue and let dry, which will form a mold. Peel off and fill the mold with either wood filler or Bondo. Follow the directions for either product. Peel off the mold, finish as desired and attach to the furniture.
I think that is the post I saw. Thanks!
If you have an identical trim somewhere else on your piece, you can use silicone to make a mold then glue the replica to the spot where it is missing. Here is a video on an easy way to make a mold. https://youtu.be/ikpNKYuuBJw
