It would help to see a photo of the chair in question. If you cannot easily get the seat off (they all do come off but there are several that you have to do special techniques for) then you might want to consider making little 'slipcovers' for the seats. Or purchase dining chair slipcovers. Google "images of slipcovered dining chairs" and a bunch of ideas show up. :-)Helpful Reply -

Make a template of seat. Transfer to fabric, cutting fabric 3.5" larger all around. make hem on edge and thread elastic through. Tighten, secure with needle and thread or knot together. and fit on chair.Helpful Reply -

You can always use a kitchen chair cushion if the seat is not removable. They tie right into the the chair backs.Helpful Reply -
