I have a broken spindle on the back of my glider chair- what can I do?

I fixed it once before and it held for a while, but when I was moving the parlor around, I must of pressed against it and it came apart. Wondering if gluing it would work a second time, and if so, if there's additional prep to do now.

Did you use Gorilla Glue? Is is wonderful stuff and works very well. You can use the white wood glue or the original yellow looking glue. You would have to clean off the old glue by scraping or sanding and follow the glue bottle directions. Also if you can clamp it while you are repairing it helps.

Yes, Gorilla Glue. Follow directions on bottle and clamp it. I recommend leaving the clamp on for as long as possible before removing
