We had ours resurfaced and we were highly disappointed. It took them 2 days to cover the tub and tile, then it had to cure for at least 48 hours. We were going on vacation so it wasn't a big deal. It looked fantastic!, for about a year. Then we started seeing bubbles under the finish, then it started peeling. We had the company come back and fix it under their warranty. The second time around was not a good experience. When they were done, and the stuff had cured, we could see areas where the finish looked droopy. In less than 6 months we had the bubbles and peeling again.
We gave up, got a new tub, and did a complete remodel on the bathroom.
i think it should. i clean for a living & several of my clients have had that done they seem happy w/it
We had our tub refinished and for a few months it looked great, but it then started looking dirty. When we cleaned we always used a non-abrasive cleaner but it started to peel-off. Now getting a new tub.
I had mine reglazed by professionals in the summer of 2007 - still looks brand new, best money I ever spent.
Not long enough to matter. If you have even basic skills in DIY then with help from the staff at Home Depot you can replace the tub and walls yourself for about the same money and be proud of a job well done
