There's a product called Rub n Buff. It comes in several different colors and several different shades of gold. It has a beautiful sheen and would blend very well with that table. You could touch up, let it dry and use either a spray enamel or polyurethane to protect it. If you use it a lot, give it at least 2 or 3 coats, letting it dry completely in between applications. Or, if you really love the table, you could have a piece of glass cut to fit!
Hope this helps!
Hello Maya; Your Table looks quite nice. What do you want to do to the table???
Please respond, so that I can help you!!! Thank-You!
This is a P.S. You can find Rub n Buff at any craft store or online. :)
chalk paint it.
Do you want to paint it?
i might put a primer on it then use differing colors of chalk paint and wax I might paint the table top and legs differing colors...
the Depends, how much work are you up for? If that's a laminate top, you could, with the right tools, replace the laminate. Cement a new sheet of laminate on top, there are some lovely laminates available. THere is melamine paint, made to stick to plastic laminates. Many lovely faux paint techniques are out there, it's possible to make the table resemble almost anything at all. Just make sure to put a good coat of polyurethane varnish over a faux painted top, to protect it from spills and so on. If it's not laminate, you can probably use almost any paint, with a good primer under it. Just follow all the instructions for surface preparastions, so y ou get a good result
Wax and buff or use that buff product, looks good to me. (even shoe polish can solve this for you)
