Old patio chairs-how to fix old rattan patio chairs ?

A week ago I was viewing how to fix old rattan patio chairs using nylon rope, I can't seem to find that DIY. Does anyone know which one I'm talking about/ My concern is I'm not sure about the nylon rope and weaving it?

You can actually buy sheets of pre-woven rattan/cane to replace old seats. I have done weaving and caving of seats, as well as basket weaving, but never with nylon rope. The thing is, that seems like an odd choice, because when you weave, the sissel, cane, rush, or traditional options don't have the slippery aspect of nylon rope.
There are a lot of people who do use what is referred to as "paracord", which is probably what you want. Here is a search link to hopefully help:
