Remove scratches from resin

I have a table with a resin top. Over the years the resin has gotten some light scratches to the surface. How can I remove the scratches without making more? Thank you.

You can purchase the pourable polyurethane at craft stores. Then sand your top with extremely fine sandpaper and pour a new finish on top. The polyurethane will fill in scratches and level itself. Follow the directions on the package. A paint brush may not give you the smooth finish you desire.

I've had luck using Bar Keepers Friend in the liquid, less abrasive form.

  Thanks Cindy, I'll give it a try. My scratches are not deep and I don't think they need to be filled so this may be the perfect solution. I may need to sand or polish the table top and would appreciate any advice on that course.

  I did the top of a resin table and only did a light "scrubbing" with the Bar Keepers Friend in the bottle (liquid version) and used a regular sponge. It was amazing what a difference it made, hope it works for you too.
