How do I repair wooden chairs?

The screws keep coming out of my wooden dining room chairs.

Put some wood glue or Gorilla Glue in the holes, then put the screws back in. They should stay in without a problem with that.
Remove each screw one at a time.. Fill the holes with wood match sticks, slivers of wood, wood golf tees dipped in wood glue. Screw the screws back in.
