How can I repair Leather or leatherlike material?

Have some black chairs that are peeling...besides cleaning, what can I do???

    I've thought about this also....wondering if a spray paint out there could liven it up....I would ask Ace or another paint company if it can be done.....or google painting leather.

    Thank you...I looked online and found zillion products...very confusing..hope somebody with similar problem comes along...but, I will ask Lowes' soon...not ACE around here....

    I once tried one of those leather "repair" kits where you mix up the powder and "iron" on with an included square of "embossed" fabric to mimic the grain of leather. I didn't have much luck with getting the color right, and it looked like a "patch" so I sent the chair to Goodwill.

    Thanks Bobbie, After figuring out that my chairs are not leather but vynil, did no want to put a lot
    of cash on them....Finally, I found at JoAnns a bottle of black fabric paint that did the work pretty good...glad that my chairs are just black, probably would not had worked out trying to match colors...Done and Forgot...lol
