Has anyone out there ever taken out a warped dresser top and then put in a new one and stained it? How long does it take? What would you quote for this job?

You should check their business record with your state complaint department. You can check with antique dealer if its a heirloom. Beware of these dealers not all are valid. If not; check around to see what the pro's would charge, then decide your budget for this project, you might be able reduce costs if you provide the supplies.

I always quote by the hour. You can then estimate how long it will take for each task, and come up with a base price. Can you run top through a planer?
