Hi Dorene,
You could visit the dollar stores, they have chair/stool stick on pads that help cushion the chair to floor surface, they work well. If they don't have the size of shape you need, they also have packs with a solid piece you can cut to special fit.
If you want the stool to not slide at all, the dollar store also has non-slip rubber pads that you could cut to size and glue on. Another thought would be the heavier duty rubber pot holders or countertop protectors, cut and glue on.
There are so many different options, here are some for you to look at and decide which ones will be best suited to your bar stools. https://www.shifflerequip.com/floor-protection.aspx
Hello Dorene,
Buy Rubber Floor savers for chairs (Chair Shoes) from DIY stores or online.
You can buy rubber caps for chair legs. Check with your local hardware or home improvement store.
I would cut discs out of a mat used under area rugs to keep them from skidding. Glue to the bottoms of the bar stool legs.
Try the rubber stoppers that are used on canes.
Dorene...You can purchase different sizes at hardware stores...they also have silicone ones that stretch but I have not used but intend to look for them. Many people also purchase little padded material covered ones with elastic (like a tiny shower cap) and coordinate with room color.
Hi ! Check home depot or Lowe's they have a wide variety of things you can use , made out of different materials . You didn't say what the stool legs were made of ...
if they were made of metal , before you put any cap or protective cover over it , you will need to file any sharp edges . Good luck !!!
You can put a "cap" on them, felt pads, or nail on glides. I've seen the caps in clear and that would be my go to, they are rubber.
