The top of our large wicker coffee table was warped in moving from having boxes piled on it. How can we straighten it out again?

if it is real wicker and plastic/synthetic -- I'd turn the table over and place weights on the 'under' side for a while; it should 'reform' itself -

If you wet the wicker a bit where it is warped then turn it upside down with weights it will reform.

Yes ! Barb is right. My friend did this years ago. IF the table fits, put it upside down in your tub filled with just enough water to cover the top. You need to weigh it down evenly, and let it soak at least overnight. Don't remove the table until you empty the tub and let it air dry a couple hours. Take your time. I remember it took m y friend several days...but it was worth it.

You are both right. If it's real wicker, it does need to be moistened about once a year. But yes, it should reform itself. If it doesn't, here is an idea you may want to keep in mind.

Spray some water on both sides of the top, turn it upside down and place enough stuff on it to straighten it back out. It may take a couple days for it to dry. Make sure the area you place the table to dry is level.
