Wicker Repair-How could I repair the unraveling/loose pieces?

I have two bar stools with wicker seats & arm rests. The wicker has started to unravel on the arm rests. How could I repair the unraveling/loose pieces ? Would a super glue work? I have temporarily used a clear tape to secure the wicker. Thanks for your help. Also, the wicker seems to have "dried out"....I would like to know what product I could use that would bring back some "luster" to the wicker. Again, thanks for any advice or help.

Put several layers of newspaper over it and then cover with 4" of mulch. it takes a while But lots easier than trying to dig it out.

If the wicker is dry try steaming with a kettle to put some life back into it .then it becomes more supple then you can glue the wicker without it braking . If you use the super glue which comes With an activator spray the bond is instant but be careful not to glue your fingers hope this helps

As for the luster you could use liquid wax just brush it on or you can get a polish wax and rag it on ,the waxes come in all colours
