How can I fix an uneven concrete driveway where puddles form?

My driveway puddles in one area when it rains. We've tried to dig along side it to release the water but that puddles too. Thanks

You can install a French Drain. This is a hose about 4” in diameter that is full of holes. It takes a bit of work to install one, but it should correct your problem. You need to dig a trench with a slight slope for carrying the water away. After you dig the hole you will add 3-4” of gravel in the bottom of it. Next comes the French Drain. Over the top of the French Drain comes another 3-4” of gravel. This is to weight the hose down. The gravel on the top and bottom serve another very important function; they act as a sort of filter to keep your drain from getting clogged up with dirt. The top gravel needs to be buried at least 10-12” below the surface.
