What material is your driveway made of? Asphalt? Concrete? Pavers?
You can add sand to a sealer to make it less slippery. There are also some commercial products which are designed to make the driveway less slippery. See if there is anything in the link below that will help you. Wishing you the best.

If it is asphalt (black) you can add sand to recoat it with the tar like substance. That is what I do for mine. I am on a hill and it can become very slippery.
what is the driveway made of?
Have you tried using a high pressure washer on it? That may remove much of the paint... the other thing you could do is sand, soda, or bead blast it... there are Companies who offer a mobile service that do medium blasting to remove graffiti, etc.... who could come out and remove the paint from your driveway. That would be the most permanent solution... painting over the existing paint with something like paint mixed with sand..would probably offer only a temporary solution.
I have had my driveway painted with Berger jet dry hi gloss heavy duty paint with non slip added. Unfortunately this has not helped does anybody have any suggestions.
Muriatic acid is the type of acid that is typically used for etching concrete. It can be highly toxic so we recommend using the Hydro-Etch 1000, a specialized muriatic acid and phosphoric acid blend which has less fumes than regular muriatic acid and is used to clean concrete, brighten concrete and etch concrete
Hi Denise, hope this helps. There are many coatings available to do this as well.
