How do I refinish an old, antique claw foot tub that is peeling?

    do you mean the outside or the porcelain interior ? -- if the outside, use a steel brush or wire wheel to thoroughly clean off as much peeling paint as you can -- repaint with a red lead rust preventive paint ( Rustoleum product ), and then cover with an enamel paint for metal ... if it's the inside the porcelain is chipped -- if it's really 'bad' -- it would better to use a commercial tub refinishing company -- if little small areas, there are porcelain tub/sink patch kits that are pretty good ...
