How do I repair a broken bath faucet handle?

I was at my sister's house and I think I broke the "handle/dial" that turns the water on in one of her bathrooms. It's a single plastic dial. The dial turns but no water comes out of the faucet. I think I broke a piece of the plastic dial; I just can't see where. Help!!

See if you can remove the handle. Usually there is a screw in the center of the handle, some times with a small cover which can be popped off. You might have to use a small screwdriver. If you know the brand you might be able to look it up on line.

Hi Pamela. I'm Cindy. Good news. The round dial can easily be replaced. There's a small screw in the center of the dial. All you have to do is unscrew the screw and remove the dial. Purchase a new dial at your local home improvement store and put it on and tighten the new screw that comes with it. Problem solved. Wishing you all the best.
