Please help, I need to know how to replace a toilet seat with tight bolts, I can't get them to loosen.
There are inexpensive kits for the "bumpers" under the seat. Tell us where it is broken? Cracked? Surface damage? Plastic or wood? Wiggles?
Is your toilet seat cracked, does it need to be replaced? I found an article that might be able to help you - https://www.hunker.com/12266997/how-to-repair-a-cracked-toilet-seat
Your best bet is to get a new one rather than repair it as toilet seats are pretty inexpensive. You pop the covers and unscrew the bolts, then replace with the new one. This will take a lot less time than repairing.
Just buy a new one, inexpensive ones for around $10. You will spend more on the repair than a new seat!
I agree buy a new one, better than painful pinches.
I would just suggest getting a new one. It would make it really difficult to keep it sanitary once it's fixed. Plus I would be afraid of it breaking again in the future.
