How do I stop the toilet from running?
I hope someone can give me an easy fix for a running toilet. It runs every ten minutes or so. I have adjusted the water level a few times and that doesn't seem to help.

Have you checked the flapper valve at the base of the tank (inside of the tank)? Over time they get old, affected by chemicals and not as flexible so they don't seat well into the pipe that empties the tank so that allows water to leak out. You can get a new flapper valve at Lowe's or a hardware store. If you can't turn the water off and take the flapper valve with you, at least look at it and take a picture with your phone so you know which kind to purchase.
