How to stop my niagara toilet noise?
Hi,
I just moved into a house with a niagara flapperless toilet. Immediately, I noticed that the toilet makes large noise when flash and refill. when I close off my water valve for the toilet, it make less refilling noise but take longer to refill. I have never see this type of toilet before, so I'm not sure if this is common for this type of toilet. I don't want to replace the entire toilet yet, so is there any way to reduce the noise? The toilet works fine, but just loud.

Check with someone at one of the big box stores to see if the toilet must have those particular flushing items inside the tank. If not, simply: Completely shut off the water to the tank, replace the two units inside the tank - the parts can be purchased for around $20 at any Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. - the instructions for installing them are right on the sheet included with the parts, then turn back on the water. Aaaaah, peace and quiet.
