You may need to snake the drain. If you are in a cold location is the pipe freezing Up?

I know its not a fun task but if your home has a reachable s pipe ..well you can take it off .this will help you to decide if your clog is there or farther out grease hair food etc can collect in the s pipe you'll know it when you see it.you'll need a pipe wrench..if you have plastic or PVC pipe be careful not to use too much force have a bucket handy ! Good luck do something good for you! Take care char

Once the drain is clear of all the chemistry you put there. REALLY CLEAR. Then you can remove the trap and clean it out. You do not want to do this if there is any chance of Draino or Liquid Plumber spilling out onto you, that stuff settles in the trap. The trap is the curvy part of the drain pipe. It is held in place by compression fittings and is easy to remove and replace.

You will probably need to take the pipes apart. There is something lodged in there and won’t budge. It’s pretty simple to take apart. I did both of my bathroom sinks because they were slow draining. The just needed a good cleaning and draino and other things didn’t help.

I find that a toilet plunger does a great job, use the kind that has a ball type attached in the middle. I have more than one. One for toilets one for sinks. Do not use liquid plumber, it will ruin your pvc pipes.
