Have you snaked out the drain? I just did my sink and tub myself. Take off the drain cover and get a long plastic snake, I got my new one at the Dollar Tree for $1, it is plastic has barbs all along the edges that grabs the hair. Have a bunch of paper towels and plastic bag to grab the hair out it and dispose of. Wear rubber gloves cause its gross.

Try snaking out the drain first... and using a drain cleaner... if that does not work... you may have a sediment buildup in the pipes under the tub.. or a blockage like tree roots in the main drain line leading to the septic or sewer... You may just have to have a plumber come out and send a camera down the line to find the answer.

You most likely have a hair clog. I would do as Sharon suggested, The plastic sticks she is taking about will do a great job of taking out the hair. Most drain cleaners do not get rid of hair clogs, and using a plunger may push the "hair ball" too far down to reach it. When you are done betting the hair out, you will need to get the gunk that is still clinging to the pipes out of there or hair will stick to it quicker. Put down a quarter to half cup of baking soda down the drain, follow it with a cup of vinegar, let it fizz and bubble for about fifteen minutes and then follow with about a gallon of boiling water to rinse everything down the pipes. If it still won't drain, you may have to get it snaked because the clog may be down too far.

Hello, hope this helps. It is most likely a hair clog.

If your drain is clogged with hair, baking soda can dissolve hair in a drain. To try this safe and easy method at home - first, pour a cup of baking soda down the drain. Then pour a cup of vinegar (white vinegar) down. Allow the mixture to sit for several minutes or 1 hour.

Go and get a drain cleaner, such as Drano, it will cut through the chase and dissolve the clog of soap and hair.
