I take a thin screw driver and see if I can get the hair out. Then, taking a cup of baking soda and stuff it down the drain. Use white vinegar and pour 1/2 cup on top. Let stay for an hour or two. Rinse; if still slow, repeat. If still slow, plumber.
Aside from also trying commercial unclogging products (which are hit or miss if they work), you can use a hanger to get down in there to try and get clogs out, check out this article as well:

If the above trick doesn't work you may need to run a snake down the drain. If you can't borrow one, they're much cheaper than a plumber.

Get one of those zip drain cleaners. Probably lots of hair and goop. Also trying pouting down boiling water.
I have always used baking soda and vinegar followed by very hot water.
