Get a new toilet ring installed either by yourself, a handman or plumber. Remember to take all the water out and turn of valve.

  • Before you go through the expense of a plumber and new toilet, put some dish soap and food color in the toilet tank. Dish soap will bubble and food color you will be able to see where it is leaking from. Might just need a few inexpensive parts rather than hundreds replacing.

Is it from the tank or where bowl is connected to floor. Could be

many things. Any of the water intake valves or fittings, water spraying from inside fill tube up onto lid and dripping from tank lid, handle area, the stopper seal needs replaced. or may need new seal on floor. Most of these you can actually fix yourself

Sounds like you need to replace the wax ring, it is on the bottom of the toilet where it meets the sewer line, the toilet has to be removed to replace it.

Sounds like you wax ring is shot, you will need to pick one up at the hardware store, they are only about $3-$4 each, shut off your water supply to the toilet and remove the toilet from the floor, pull out the old ring and put the new ring in. Rebolt the toilet and turn the water back on

If the wax ring you buy is a slightly different shape than the old one, be sure to push the toilet down to floor level. Some wax may be squeezed out onto the floor. Wipe it off with paper towels so there is no gunk left on the floor. You should not need caulk—that’s what the wax is for! But if you do, use white silicone caulk for gaps or the entire bottom edge of the toilet. Best wishes! ☺️

There are about a million you tube videos on leaking toilets and the multitide of places they can leak from. You should start wayching them. Since you didnt even mention where the water actually is(as a clue to where it might be coming from) how could anyone actually attempt to answer such a question?
