my high school year book from 50 years ago was accidentally left out in the rain while i was moving. Pages are now stuck together.does anyone have a suggestion on how to gently/safely separate these glossy pages..or possibly how replace it ?

Yes, you could probably replace it with Classmates.com but that would not give you autographs etc. I have worked a lot with paper and this is what I would do. Re-soak your yearbook in tepid water in a sink. When it is thoroughly wet remove it and put a sheet of waxed paper between each and every page, divide the book in half in the middle, so those two pages would dry, then move on through the book till is it all dry. Keep wet pages separated. Good Luck!

You have to resoak the pages. It may take some time but they will loosen up.

Hello, that is what I would try too. Soak it and put waxed paper between each sheet. I hope you can save it and all the memories.

Hi Msv, Here's a link that's used for photos that are stuck. Perhaps it would work for your year book: https://www.thriftyfun.com/tf522321.tip.html

If you can't repair it, you might look on Ebay for your yearbook. They seem to have a lot of them!

    Good luck!
