How can you fix/disguise a broken bathroom mirror?

My house settled some years ago after we had some plumbing problems and in doing so, the very large bathroom mirror cracked jaggedly from top to bottom - is there some kind of fix for this??

My first thought would be to call someone that repairs windshields with something that fills in the crack. Or have a glass company cut it and make a smaller mirror.

I did get an estimate to replace it, but it was over $1000, so that is why I am looking for options. I did find some mirror stickers, but am not sure if they will stick to a mirror they are designed to stick to walls.

I would get the mirror replaced especially If the crack is towards the middle of the mirror. If it is on the edge, you could put a frame around it to cover the edge that has broken. What you could do is take down the whole mirror and cut it yourself. Get a glass cutter from Home Depot for less than $5 and between your index finger and middle finger hold the glass cutter and score the mirror to make 2 smaller ones if you can. You will need running pliers to break the glass where it is scored. Oh and after it is cut, the edges will be extremely sharp. You will want to hide that edge with a frame because it won't look finished. You can always get a company to do this, but it actually isn't that hard to cut glass and they will charge you some money for It and at that point you might just want to get a new mirror. Good luck

Thank you - I'm not very handy - lol, so would probably have to find a handy man to help me with it. I will look into it though
