Having a mirror resilvered can get quite expensive. You can get creative and embellish the mirror.
Rusty spots indicate that your local water has iron in it.
Evaluate having a Whole house water filter installed, or you can do it yourself. It will be healthier for your family’s bodies and for all of your plumbing fixtures.
Then replace your mirror, used ones are often 10 bucks!

Agreed- there's no easy way to restore a mirror.
I agree replacing it might be the best option I would also agree to check out thrift stores for the inexpensive mirrors otherwise they can get quite expensive.
