Why have my solar lights stopped working?

I cleaned the glass cover with acetone and sprayed a clear lacquer over the glass. The lights have been left in the sunlight about a month, but will not come on again.

You might need to replace the batteries in them. Ours have backup ba in them. Good luck!

Agree with Dawn that's likely what happened.

Batteries in solar lights are very tiny, and generally do not have a long life span. The batteries, tiny wires, and connections can be easily corroded by moisture, gunked up by dirt, or crack from heat or cold.
