Cops broke down 100yr old apt bldg door hard to find and the frame is cracked or coming away from the interior wall. Replace it or can it all be repaired like brand new? If so, can someone tell me how to fix the broken door frame?

Frame and door would need to be replaced. Easier and cheaper in the long run. Some communities you can file a claim with the police department to pay or replace the door and frame.

Yes they said we can (we will see) plus we have a security deposit from the tenant if they don’t. But my confusion is “who” can match a 75-100yr old door & paint with the others?

And it’s the Interior frame. They kicked the door in not out. and thank you for helping though :)

Do a Google Search for architectural salvage in your area. I had a 100yr old home that was missing a front door when I purchased it. The door and frame were much larger than doors available now days. I lucked out at a local architectural salvage lot and was able to purchase a door that fit my needs ALMOST perfectly(it needed planed down on 1 side but was easy to do), and it was only $100!

You may need to find a restoration woodworker to fabricate a door. You can also search online for companies that manufacture old doors. You can also search online for architectural salvage yards that reclaim old houses.
