How can I cover the bottom half of a door screen?

I need to cover the screen with a decorative grill so the screen doesn't get pushed out.

They sell screen guards at any hardware or home improvement center.
You can add 1"x1" wood beams in a design using a nail gun.
Lattice or plexiglass might be an option.
