Make a paste of cooking oil and baking soda and rub to remove the tape
Cooking oil, butcher block oil will work. There is also Goo-gone that takes all kinds of residues off of things. It might be a tedious job, but with patience, you'll get it done!
Try spraying WD40 on it and let it sit for awhile. It show scrape right off.
TRY THIS, W/ A RAZOR BLADE CUT THE SURFACE OF THE TAPE, WIPE ON SOME PAINT THINNER / WD40 WILL WORK, THEN APPLY SURRAN WRAP OVER THE AREA, THIS KEEPS FUMES ON ARE AND IT WILL PENETRATE THE TAPE, THEN A HANDY SINGLE SIDE RAZOR BLADE, USE THE PAIN THINNER FOR RESIDUE GLUE REMAINING, THEN JUST CLEAN WINDOWS AS YOU NORMALLY DO
If all else fails, use some acetone on a rag. Caution! Do not get acetone on surrounding surfaces or your skin. Use gloves and eye protection.
Goo Gone. You can buy at Home Depot, Walmart, etc.
Soak the area in a kitchen oil like olive oil. Peanut butter also has an oil that interferes with the stickiness, and it sometimes works better because it can stay in place on vertical surfaces better while it does its work.
