Get a hammer, screwdriver, and brace the door. Remove the top hinge pin with the screwdriver and hammer. Lay the hinge pin on a solid surface and strike it once with the hammer to give it a slight bend. Reinsert it back into the hinge. The bend will give enough friction to prevent the door from "ghost" closing.

Usually you have to put a shim (cardboard works) behind the hinge plate (sometimes called a leaf) of the offending hinge. Sometimes it is hard to find the offending hinge. Also, once the shim is in place you MAY (not always) need a longer screw, OR you can sometimes reuse the hole by dipping toothpicks into wood glue and insert enough to hold the screw (flat ones might work if you don't have to place a thick shim behind the hinge plate.

Sounds as if the door is not hanging plumb! Floor sloping? Just use a Wedge!
