Sounds like your foundation is cracked.

You may have some sort of subsidence or movement which needs investigating.

Here in Tn.. Homes don't usually have a slab , usually a crawl space or basement. We lived in a slab based home for 16yrs n never had this issue.

Get a foundation company to check the level of your home Esp in that area. While concrete/cement foundations can shift & cause it, but this happens more often with pier & beam foundations & is less cost to have your foundation leveled.

That would be MY 1st step. Level foundation. Then address wall & your repair should hold.

    Hope this helps.

Sounds like one corner may be sinking..............? Why don't you ask your neighbours to come take a look. do they have this sort of problem?
