How to keep outside door frames from peeling the paint.?

Have stripped and repainted them four times in the past Is there something I need to do that will prevent this?

Did you prime? Did you use an exterior house paint?
Replace with plastic. Looks great. Will not rot. Easy to do.

You definitely want to make sure you're using the proper paint for a project like this one. (and exterior house paint)
Are you priming the wood? Are you using paint recommended for the outside? Is there some way moisture is getting under the paint - a leak under the wood?
